About This Phone
This truly is a spectacular telephone. Unlike almost all of the other beautiful candlestick telephones in the collection, instead of nickel plating, this Phoenix potbelly was produced with copper plating. It has 10 numbered buttons in the base and a dial switch at the base of the shaft. It has the traditional "TradeMark" logo on the transmitter and an outside terminal receiver. There is also a scan from an original Phoenix telephone catalog showing their potbelly with buttons on the base. This has to be one of the rarest telephones in the collection, never seen another like this, especially in copper.
