The first commercial wall telephone by Siemens & Halske. With butterstamp receiver, D.R. Patent, underside stamped "10136 - 1723U - 203E", turned wood and brass, leather-covered handle, underside with screw for fine adjustment, height 7 ½ in., identically constructed microphone in the case, lightning protection, single bell, walnut case.
