Victor Telephone Mfg. Co. (Chicago) desk set

Extremely rare Victor Telephone Mfg. Co. (Chicago) straight shaft desk set with a ball mount marked transmitter. Short steerhorn switch hook and a "Solid" OST receiver. Please see the attached ad for Victor telephones from the December 1899 Electrical Engineering magazine, and later scans from 1903. The Victor telephone looked very much like a Stromberg-Carlson "roman column" candlestick without the fluted shaft. This telephone is in outstanding original condition.
