From Wikipedia
Alfred Stromberg (born March 9, 1861 in Sweden ; died March 8, 1913 in the USA ) was a Swedish-American inventor and entrepreneur.
The son of Anders Gustav Strömberg (born 1822) and Lovisa Andersdotter (born 1823) from Varnhem , Västergötland , began working at the age of 15 at the instrument and telegraph factory Öllers & Co. , where the young Lars Magnus Ericsson also worked. He lived in the Hedwig-Eleonora parish near Stockholm. From 1879 onwards, he established telephone exchanges in Stockholm, Scandinavia, and Denmark. More on Wikipedia →
