About The Model 2500
When the 2500 hit the market in 1968, it inherited the massive success of the rotary 500 series and the button-layout experiments of the mid-60s. Western Electric offered it immediately in the standard "Big 10" colors of the era to ensure it appealed to residential customers, not just business offices.
